Behind the Veil
Rooted in reverence. Raised in rhythm. Created in collaboration.
Katti Koyaha + Co is a multidisciplinary studio led by Krizia Isamar Bruno,
offering editorial support, visual storytelling, graphic design, and immersive performance
through a lens of care, intuition, and cultural depth.
Founder Bio
A multi-hyphenated creator, producer, and publisher, Krizia is based in Philadelphia. She is the founder of Katti Koyaha + Co — a studio dedicated to weaving design, publishing, and performance into transformative creative offerings.
Her work is rooted in narrative, ritual, and aesthetic care. As an Afro-Indigenous creator, Krizia honors ancestral presence in every part of her practice
from hand-bound zines to stage acts, brand identities to editorial consultation.
With over a decade of experience in literary editing, desktop publishing, web design, performance, and visual storytelling, Krizia creates sacred spaces — physically and digitally — where the voices of the hidden can be amplified.
What Does
Katti Koyaha Mean?
Katti Koyaha means Moon Spirit in Hiwatahia, a modernized, revitalized Arawakan Taino language and the product of a language project, in which Krizia participated in for two years, that aimed to have our ancestral tongue be a living language.
